Acceptable Use Policy

• No use of the services that violates any applicable law or regulation, or that promotes, facilitates, or provides instructions for illegal activity.
• No fraud, phishing, identity theft, money laundering, pyramid or Ponzi schemes, or deceptive commercial practices.
• No sale or promotion of illegal drugs, illegal weapons, counterfeit goods, stolen property, or other unlawful goods or services.
• Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes or exploits minors. We remove such content, terminate the account, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
• No terrorism, violent extremism, or organized hate — including recruitment, funding, promotion, or glorification.

• No threats, incitement, or glorification of violence against any person or group.
• No harassment, bullying, stalking, or content intended to degrade, intimidate, or shame a private individual.
• No hateful content that dehumanizes or promotes discrimination or violence on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics.
• No doxxing: publishing another person’s private or identifying information without authorization.
• No pornography or sexually explicit content.
• No content depicting or promoting cruelty to people or animals.

Self-harm and suicide

You may not publish or transmit content that promotes, glorifies, encourages, or provides instructions for suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders, or that targets vulnerable people with such content. Good-faith educational, supportive, or recovery-oriented content is permitted, and we encourage it to include crisis resources. If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis: in the United States, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911 in an emergency. We may remove content, surface crisis resources, restrict features, or contact authorities where we believe there is a risk of harm to any person, but we assume no duty to monitor for or detect such content.

• No content that is materially false, misleading, or deceptive, including fake reviews, fabricated testimonials or credentials, and false claims about products, services, pricing, or affiliations.
• No impersonation of any person or organization, and no use of another business’s name, branding, or content without authorization.
• No use of our AI features to generate content prohibited by this AUP, and no attempts to manipulate, jailbreak, or bypass our AI safety measures.
• No deepfakes or synthetic media presented as authentic, and no undisclosed automated (bot) interaction with consumers where disclosure is required by law.
• Health, financial, legal, and similar claims on your sites must comply with the laws and licensing rules that apply to you; you are solely responsible for them.

• Only publish content you own or are licensed to use. No pirated or infringing material.
• Respect the privacy rights of others; obtain any consents required to publish photos or information about identifiable people.
• We respond to copyright complaints under the DMCA and terminate repeat infringers — see the Terms of Service for the notice procedure.

• No malware, viruses, or malicious code, and no hosting of phishing or command-and-control infrastructure.
• No probing, scanning, penetration testing, or vulnerability testing of the services without our prior written authorization.
• No circumvention of authentication, rate limits, metering, plan limits, or other technical controls, and no unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data.
• No automated access (scraping, crawling, bulk downloading) of the services or of sites we host, except through interfaces we provide and ordinary search-engine indexing of public pages.
• No use of the services or their output to build or train competing products, models, or datasets.
• No resource abuse: cryptocurrency mining, file-dump hosting, proxying, or any use that degrades the service for others.
• No denial-of-service attacks or interference with any user, host, or network.

• No spam. Email or text campaigns connected to your business must comply with applicable law (including CAN-SPAM and the TCPA), be sent only to recipients who have consented where consent is required, honor opt-outs promptly, and identify the sender truthfully.
• No harvesting of contact details for unsolicited outreach, and no purchased or rented contact lists without verifiable consent.
• No misuse of our messaging programs, including attempts to send content prohibited by this AUP over SMS.

We may investigate suspected violations and take any action we consider appropriate, including removing or unpublishing content, suspending or terminating accounts and sites (without refund), notifying affected third parties, and reporting to law enforcement. We may — but are not obligated to — monitor content, and our failure to act on one violation does not waive our right to act on others. Decisions about what violates this AUP are made at our reasonable discretion. To appeal an enforcement action, email dev@prototypical.ai with the details.

To report content or activity that violates this AUP, email dev@prototypical.ai with the URL or location of the content, a description of the issue, and your contact information. We review reports and act as we consider appropriate, but we cannot guarantee a particular outcome or response time.
