SMS Terms & Opt-In

ProtoPal SMS sends and receives messages such as:

• sign-up links and one-time login or verification codes;
• account and service notifications (for example, when a website build or edit finishes, and billing or security alerts);
• conversational website editing — you can text changes for your site and receive confirmations, previews, and follow-up questions;
• replies to questions you text us, and customer-support messages.

Replies may be generated by an automated AI system rather than a human. Marketing or promotional texts are sent only where you have consented to receive them. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of purchasing any good or service.

• by texting the ProtoPal number first;
• by providing your mobile number when creating or updating your account, or when enabling text-based features (such as text-to-edit or SMS login codes);
• by otherwise giving us your number and asking us to text you.

You represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number you provide, and you agree to notify us promptly (email dev@prototypical.ai or reply STOP) if you give up that number.

• Message frequency varies based on how you use the program (for example, how often you text edits to your site).
• Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to the transmission limitations of your carrier and coverage area.
• The program is intended for U.S. mobile numbers.

Reply STOP to cancel at any time. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, and QUIT also work. After you opt out you will receive one final message confirming the opt-out, and we will stop sending you texts. Reply START to re-subscribe. Opting out of texts may disable text-dependent features such as text-to-edit and SMS login codes; your account otherwise remains active.

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle your information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except as necessary to deliver messages through our messaging service providers and carriers.

We may modify or discontinue the program, or update these SMS Terms, at any time; the updated version takes effect when posted. Your continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
